Refund Policy

At Go Twenties, we want customers to shop with confidence while also protecting the safety, hygiene, and quality standards of our products.
Go Twenties is based in Quebec, Canada and sells to customers across Canada and the United States. Because our products are personal-care, cosmetic, grooming, and hygiene-related items, we apply strict return and refund conditions.
By placing an order on www.gotwenties.com, you agree to this Refund Policy, subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection laws.
Return Policy Summary
Due to the personal-care nature of our products, opened, used, tested, applied, unsealed, or tampered-with items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded for hygiene and safety reasons, unless required by applicable law.
Eligible unopened and unused items may be returned within 14 days of delivery with prior approval.
Damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with clear photo evidence.
Customers are responsible for choosing the correct shade, product, quantity, and bundle before placing an order.
1. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The return request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
- The item must be unused, unopened, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
- All seals, caps, labels, safety wraps, protective films, boxes, inserts, and original packaging must be intact and untampered with.
- The item must be in the same condition in which it was received.
- Proof of purchase must be provided, such as an order number, receipt, or confirmation email.
- The return must be approved by Go Twenties before the item is sent back.
Items sent back without prior approval may be refused, returned to sender, or held without refund.
2. Non-Returnable and Final Sale Items
For hygiene, safety, and quality-control reasons, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless required by applicable law:
- Opened, used, tested, applied, sprayed, shaken, or partially consumed hair building fibers
- Opened, used, tested, applied, sprayed, or partially consumed sprays
- Opened or used cosmetic, grooming, hygiene, or personal-care products
- Products with broken, removed, altered, damaged, or tampered seals
- Products with missing caps, labels, inserts, accessories, boxes, packaging, or protective materials
- Products returned in damaged, altered, contaminated, or unsellable condition
- Gift cards
- Free gifts, samples, promotional add-ons, or bonus items
- Sale, clearance, promotional, or discounted items, unless otherwise required by law
- Bundles, kits, multi-packs, 3-packs, or 6-packs where any item has been opened, used, removed, damaged, or is missing
- Items returned without prior authorization
- Items returned after the approved return window
Go Twenties reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet this policy, subject to applicable law.
3. Damaged, Defective, Missing, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos of the product received
- Photos of the packaging
- Photos of the shipping label
- Photos showing any damage, defect, missing item concern, or incorrect item received
If we confirm that the item was damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect due to an error by Go Twenties, we may offer a replacement, store credit, refund, or another appropriate solution, subject to applicable law.
Claims submitted after 48 hours may be denied if we cannot reasonably verify the issue.
4. Shade Selection and Product Results
Customers are responsible for choosing the correct shade, product, quantity, and bundle before placing an order.
Hair fiber results may vary depending on factors including, but not limited to:
- Natural hair colour
- Hair type
- Hair density
- Thinning pattern
- Lighting
- Application technique
- Styling routine
- Use of sprays or other hair products
- Individual expectations
We do not guarantee that a product will match every customer’s exact hair colour, preferred appearance, or expected result.
The following reasons do not qualify for a refund once the product has been opened, used, tested, applied, or unsealed:
- Incorrect shade selection
- Ordering the wrong item, shade, quantity, or bundle
- Change of mind
- Buyer’s remorse
- Personal preference
- Product not meeting subjective expectations
- Dissatisfaction after using or testing the product
- Failure to follow product instructions or application guidance
5. Order Changes and Cancellations
Orders are processed as quickly as possible. Once an order has been processed, packed, fulfilled, or shipped, it may not be possible to cancel, change, or refund the order.

We will do our best to assist, but we cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made before fulfillment.
Go Twenties will not cancel an order solely because of a pricing error, inventory issue, or internal mistake unless cancellation is permitted by applicable law or agreed to with the customer.
6. Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an approved error by Go Twenties, such as sending the wrong item.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law or unless the return is due to an approved Go Twenties error.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service. Go Twenties is not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, or damaged return shipments sent by the customer.
If a return shipment is lost or not delivered to us, no refund will be issued unless required by applicable law.
7. How to Start a Return

- Photos of the unopened item and original packaging
If your return request is approved, we will provide return instructions.
Do not send any item back without approval. Unauthorized returns may be refused, returned to sender, or held without refund.
8. Return Inspection
All returned items are inspected after arrival.
A return may be denied if the item:
- Has been opened, used, tested, applied, sprayed, shaken, or partially consumed
- Has damaged, missing, altered, or tampered packaging
- Has a broken, removed, altered, or tampered seal
- Is missing parts, accessories, labels, caps, inserts, boxes, or protective materials
- Is not in original condition
- Is returned after the approved return window
- Does not match the item originally purchased
- Shows signs of misuse, alteration, contamination, or excessive handling
If a return is denied after inspection, Go Twenties is not required to issue a refund, subject to applicable law. The customer may be responsible for any cost associated with sending the item back to them.
If a customer does not respond to our return-related communication or does not pay any required reshipping cost within 30 days, the item may be considered abandoned, subject to applicable law.
9. Refund Processing
If your return is approved after inspection, your refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow up to 10 business days after approval for the refund to be processed. Your bank, credit card company, PayPal, Shop Pay, or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
Where applicable law requires a shorter refund period, Go Twenties will comply with that legal requirement.
Go Twenties is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors after a refund has been submitted.
10. Partial Refunds and Deductions
Go Twenties may issue a partial refund, deny a refund, or deduct costs from a refund in situations including, but not limited to:
- The item is returned with damaged, missing, or altered packaging
- The item is missing labels, caps, boxes, accessories, inserts, or parts
- A bundle, kit, multi-pack, 3-pack, or 6-pack is returned incomplete
- The item shows signs of handling beyond what is necessary to inspect it
- The customer received a discount, promotional offer, free gift, or bonus item
- The customer returns an item that does not fully comply with this policy
- Go Twenties incurred shipping, carrier, return, handling, or payment processing costs due to customer error
Shipping fees, handling fees, duties, taxes, route protection, insurance, and other non-product charges may be excluded from refunds unless required by applicable law.
11. Exchanges
We do not guarantee exchanges.
If you ordered the wrong shade, item, quantity, or bundle, you may place a new order for the correct product. Opened, used, tested, applied, or unsealed items cannot be exchanged for hygiene and safety reasons unless required by applicable law.
If an exchange is approved, the item must meet all return eligibility requirements listed in this policy.
12. Lost, Stolen, or Delivered Packages
Once a package is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, Go Twenties is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or missing packages after carrier-confirmed delivery, unless required by applicable law.
If tracking shows that your order was delivered but you did not receive it, please check with:
- Household members
- Neighbours
- Building staff
- Your mailbox or parcel locker
- Your local post office
- The shipping carrier
We may assist customers with the carrier claim process where possible, but carrier-confirmed delivery does not automatically qualify an order for a refund or replacement.
13. Incorrect, Incomplete, or Undeliverable Addresses
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
Go Twenties is not responsible for orders lost, delayed, returned, or delivered incorrectly due to:
- Incorrect shipping addresses
- Missing apartment, unit, suite, buzzer, or building numbers
- Incomplete recipient information
- Typing errors
- Outdated addresses
- Refused deliveries
- Unclaimed packages
- Carrier delivery issues caused by address errors
If an order is returned to us because it was refused, unclaimed, undeliverable, or sent to an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer may be responsible for:
- Original shipping costs
- Return shipping costs
- Reshipping fees
- Carrier charges
- Handling fees
Refunds for refused, unclaimed, returned-to-sender, or undeliverable packages are not guaranteed and may be reduced by any costs incurred by Go Twenties, unless required by applicable law.
14. Shipping Delays
Shipping times are estimates unless a specific delivery guarantee is clearly stated by Go Twenties in writing.
Go Twenties is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, weather, holidays, incorrect addresses, high shipping volume, labour disruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Shipping delays after an order has been shipped do not automatically qualify the order for cancellation, refund, or replacement, unless required by applicable law.
For U.S. orders, if we cannot ship within the time stated at purchase, or within the legally required timeframe where no shipping time is stated, we will follow applicable U.S. shipment-delay rules, which may include notifying the customer, requesting consent to the delay, or refunding unshipped merchandise where required.
15. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a customer files a chargeback, payment dispute, or claim, Go Twenties reserves the right to provide the payment processor, bank, card network, or dispute-resolution provider with relevant evidence, including:
- Order records
- Tracking information
- Delivery confirmation
- Customer communication records
- Product descriptions
- Checkout records
- Policy terms applicable at the time of purchase
- Photos, records, and other evidence related to the order
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute may delay resolution while the payment provider reviews the case.
16. Fraud, Abuse, and Policy Misuse
Go Twenties reserves the right to refuse returns, refunds, replacements, exchanges, discounts, or future orders in cases of suspected:
- Fraud
- False claims
- Return abuse
- Chargeback abuse
- Excessive refund requests
- Misuse of promotional offers
- Altered evidence
- Missing-item claims inconsistent with shipping records
- Violation of this policy
We may also cancel or refuse future orders from customers who abuse our policies or engage in suspicious activity, subject to applicable law.
17. Promotional Offers, Discounts, and Free Gifts
Promotional offers, discounts, free gifts, bonus items, and bundle deals are subject to the terms of the promotion.
If an order included a free gift, bonus item, discount, bundle price, or promotional offer, the value of those items or discounts may be deducted from any approved refund if the full order is not returned in eligible condition.
Free gifts and promotional items have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
18. International Orders, Duties, Taxes, and Customs
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges required by their country, province, state, region, or local authorities.
These charges are not controlled by Go Twenties and are non-refundable by Go Twenties.
If a package is refused, abandoned, returned, delayed, or destroyed because duties, taxes, customs forms, or fees were not paid or completed by the customer, the customer may not be eligible for a refund, unless required by applicable law.
19. Price Adjustments
Go Twenties does not offer retroactive price adjustments unless clearly stated in a promotion or required by applicable law.
If a product goes on sale after your purchase, the previous order does not automatically qualify for a refund, credit, or price adjustment.
20. Policy Changes
Go Twenties reserves the right to update, modify, or change this Refund Policy at any time.
The Refund Policy in effect at the time of purchase will apply to that order.
21. Governing Location and Applicable Laws
Go Twenties operates from Quebec, Canada. This policy is intended to apply to orders placed through www.gotwenties.com, while respecting applicable consumer-protection laws in Quebec, Canada, the United States, and any other jurisdiction where mandatory consumer rights apply.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit, exclude, or replace any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection laws.
Where applicable law provides a customer with mandatory rights that differ from this policy, Go Twenties will comply with those legal requirements.
