This Privacy Policy explains how Go Twenties Inc. operating as Go Twenties (“Go Twenties,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, transfers, and protects personal information when you visit or make a purchase from gotwenties.com or otherwise interact with us, including through our website, Shopify store, checkout, email, customer support, social media, advertising, promotions, and related services collectively referred to in this Privacy Policy as the “Services.”
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “you” and “your” refer to visitors, customers, account holders, subscribers, and any other person whose personal information we collect or process.
Go Twenties is currently based in Canada and serves customers in Canada and the United States. We may expand internationally in the future, including potentially to Europe, Latin America, Mexico, and Dubai/UAE. At this time, we do not intentionally target customers outside Canada and the United States. This Privacy Policy is designed to explain our current practices and to support future international growth. Where specific regional privacy rights apply to you, we describe them below.

Marketing information: email subscription status, marketing preferences, consent records, promotional engagement, giveaway entries, survey responses, and referral or loyalty activity if applicable. Product preference and personalization information: information you choose to provide about your hair, styling preferences, product needs, concealment preferences, or related product-fit details. User-generated content: reviews, testimonials, comments, photos, videos, social media tags, or other content you choose to submit or make public.

Because Go Twenties sells hair concealment products, you may choose to provide information about hair-related concerns, preferences, appearance, styling needs, photos, or similar details. We do not require you to provide sensitive personal information to browse or purchase from our website unless specifically necessary for a service you request. We do not currently use session recording, heatmap, or behavior replay tools, but we may add such tools in the future. If we do, we will use them in accordance with applicable law and update our disclosures as appropriate.
5.3 Managing Cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings, device settings, platform-level ad settings, and any cookie banner or privacy preference tool we make available.
Our website currently uses a cookie banner. We may add a more detailed cookie preference center that allows users to accept, reject, or manage non-essential cookies.
If you disable cookies, some parts of our website may not function properly, including cart, checkout, account, and personalization features.
Where required by law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies or using similar technologies.
5.4 Global Privacy Control and Browser Signals
Where required by applicable law, we will honor legally recognized browser-based opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or similar processing for that browser or device.
If Global Privacy Control is not currently supported through our Shopify privacy settings or cookie tools, we will work toward enabling appropriate support where legally required.

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides ecommerce infrastructure, checkout, hosting, payment-related services, analytics, security, fraud-prevention, and other services that help us operate our online store.
When you visit our website, place an order, use checkout, or interact with Shopify-powered features, Shopify may process personal information on our behalf and, in some cases, for its own purposes depending on the specific Shopify service, applicable law, and Shopify’s own privacy terms.
We use Shopify Payments and may add additional payment methods in the future, including PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Afterpay, Klarna, Sezzle, Affirm, or similar payment options.
We may also install third-party Shopify apps to support functions such as reviews, subscriptions, upsells, cross-sells, email/SMS marketing, analytics, shipping, fulfillment, fraud prevention, customer support, loyalty, referrals, quizzes, or product recommendations. These apps may process personal information as necessary to provide their services.

8. Email and SMS Marketing
8.1 Email Marketing

We currently use tools such as Klaviyo and Shopify Email to send and manage email marketing.

8.2 SMS/MMS Marketing
We do not currently use SMS/MMS marketing, but we may add it in the future. If you opt in to SMS or MMS marketing, we may send promotional or transactional text messages to the phone number you provide. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to SMS marketing is not a condition of purchase.
You may opt out by replying STOP where supported or by following the instructions in the message. You may request help by replying HELP where supported.
8.3 Transactional Messages
Even if you unsubscribe from marketing, we may still send non-promotional messages about orders, shipping, returns, refunds, account security, customer service, legal notices, or policy updates.
